Freeing stuck print jobs on shared printers in Windows NT
Occasionally, you might find that a print job gets stuck in a shared printer's print queue: the printer won't print it, and yet you can't delete it.
One technique you can use to resolve this problem is to stop and restart the Print Spooler service.
Begin by opening the Services program from Control Panel.
In the list of Services, select the Spooler service.
Click Stop to stop the service.
When Windows NT stops the service, click Start to restart it.
Windows NT should now be able to print your job.
