Keyboard shortcuts for cursor manipulation

When working with text, the mouse is extremely inefficient.

You'll waste less time if you start relying on keyboard shortcuts for cursor manipulation.

In most Windows programs (like Outlook Express, Microsoft Word, etc.), SHIFT will traditionally 'select' and CTRL will 'move'.

CTRL+BACKSPACE will delete entire words at a time

CTRL+HOME will take you to the top of the document

CTRL+SHIFT+HOME will select all data between your cursor and the top of your document

CTRL+SHIFT+END will select all data between your cursor and the end of your document

SHIFT+HOME will select all text between where your cursor is and the beginning of that line.

SHIFT+END will select all text between where your cursor is and the ending of that line.

CTRL+LEFT ARROW will move you one word back

CTRL+RIGHT ARROW will move you one word right

Try other combinations of SHIFT, CTRL, HOME, END, BACKSPACE, LEFT ARROW, RIGHT ARROW, UP ARROW, and DOWN ARROW.
